Mission

The Boxer Club of Hawaii strives to promote the breeding of quality Boxers, to protect all interests of the breed, to maintain the standard of the Boxer in Hawaii, and to encourage true sportsmanship among Boxer owners.

 About Boxers

Boxers are great dogs with great hearts! In fact, they are the King of Hearts.

A short introduction to the Boxer Standard can be found here. A visual study of the AKC Standard can be found here.

 Club Meetings and News

The next quarterly meeting will be a Boxer Health/Grooming Seminar on September 4 at 6 pm. The address is 3021 Anderson Ave, Honolulu, Hawaii 96818 (Halsey Terrace Navy housing). We'll discuss health issues most common in the breed and easy, low-cost ways to keep your Boxer healthy and happy. We will also have snacks and door prizes. Since we'll be using our Boxers for demos, we ask only owners come for this one. Please RSVP () by Aug. 23 so we know how much food to purchase.

 On-line Communities

The Boxer Club of Hawaii has created a Yahoo group. This free and easy to use web link will allow you to post messages, links, files, and photos to other group members. To join, at the Yahoo group site simply click on the button in the left corner that says "Join this group."

The unofficial Yahoo group is designed to spread the word about the Club and educate Hawaii residents on our beloved breed. The group is free to join and open to all members and non-members of the Boxer Club of Hawaii. Due to the nature of on-line posting, Boxer Club of Hawaii cannot individually verify the reputation of all people who post on litters, stud dogs and re-homing. However, please check the files section on the Yahoo group for tips on selecting an ethical and reputable breeder.

There is also a Facebook site.
